Overview

This itinerary centers on the “Holy City” of Amritsar, offering a deep dive into Sikh culture, patriotic history, and the world-famous Punjabi culinary scene. You will experience the serene Golden Temple, the poignant Jallianwala Bagh, and the high-energy border ceremony.

Morning: Arrive in Amritsar and check into your hotel. Head to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib). Experience the peace of the complex and visit the world's largest community kitchen (Langar).
Afternoon: Walk to the nearby Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial of national importance.
Evening: Explore the Partition Museum, the first of its kind, located in the Town Hall.
Night: Walk through the Heritage Street and enjoy authentic Amritsari Kulcha and Lassi at a local dhaba.

Morning: Visit the Durgiana Temple, often called the Silver Temple, and the Ram Tirath Ashram.
Afternoon: Head to a local Farm Stay or "Pind" (Village) tour to experience traditional Punjabi agriculture, tractor rides, and folk music.
Evening: Drive to the Wagah-Attari Border (approx. 45 mins) to witness the spectacular "Beating Retreat" ceremony between India and Pakistan.
Night: Return to the city for a shopping spree at Hall Bazaar for Phulkari embroidery and Juttis.

Morning: Visit the Gobindgarh Fort to learn about the history of Maharaja Ranjit Singh through its museums and 7D shows.
Afternoon: Visit the War Memorial & Museum to see the military history of Punjab.
Evening: Have a final traditional Punjabi meal before transferring to the Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport or Amritsar Junction for your departure.
